We serve women in rural and suburban East Shelby County, who have experienced domestic abuse. Women in our program are empowered and supported through education that leads to economic independence, healthy relationships, stable families, and a strong faith.

Workplace Giving
Share a portion of the proceeds from a special event. Or, if your workplace has a company match, sign up to give to the Women's Advocacy Center and have your company match your giving.

Organize a Walk/Run/Bike Event
Get your church group, civic organization, or neighborhood involved in raising awareness and raising money through an outdoor event.

Sponsor Bi-Weekly Meals for Families
Families we serve are sometimes facing food insecurity for $100/month you can sponsor two meals for a family of four. Contact us about how to become a monthly sponsor.

School Fundraiser
Work with your local school to coordinate a fundraiser. Through the fundraiser you can educate on dating violence or other aspects of domestic abuse.

Volunteer
Help a family starting a new life. Volunteer to help mentor a new client, pick up and deliver furniture, or assemble supplies.

Still Not Sure What To Do?
Be creative! For starters, you can create your own fundraiser on Facebook or you can talk with your civic organization, fraternity, or sorority about fun ways to raise funds for TWAC and those we serve.
